Rules of the Forum

Welcome to Jane! As with any forum, we have a few rules we'd like you to abide by. I'll try to keep it brief, because, let's be real, no one wants to spend an afternoon reading rules.

1. First and foremost, be nice. This rule is really important. Bullying, slurs and way too much cursing will not be tolerated. Light cursing is allowed, of course. But nothing too bad.
   
2. No spamming. No one likes a spammer. Edit a post if there's something you need to add, don't double post.
   
3. Post everything in the relevant forums. If you want to discuss characters, don't post it in suggestions or anything like that. I want to keep this forum organized.
   
4. Don't make yourself a bigger authority than you are. Did I make you a mod? If I did, great! If I didn't, please don't try to give yourself power no one else has given you. If there's a serious problem, you can PM me or another mod.
   
5. For now, please post in English. I have no problem with Spanish, and Jane is a bilingual show, but it's harder to moderate a language I don't speak.*
   
6. The moderating team has the right to edit, delete and move your posts as deemed fit.
   
7. There are no specific rules for signatures and icons, but keep them reasonable. We'll ask you to resize if they're too big and outright delete images if not abided by.
   
8. No nudity, porn or excessive violence, written or otherwise, should be posted directly to the forum. If it's related to Jane, you can outlink if you warn that there is pornographic content. If it's not related to Jane, it doesn't have a place here!
   

*That said, I will happily add a board for all Spanish-speaking conversation should I ever find a fitting bilingual moderator! So don't think this isn't something I'm not open or eager to implement.
